Dear Member:

On March 29, NBCNHU Executive participated on a conference call to address the concerns in regards to the “Attendance Support Program”.

At this time NBCNHU is asking members NOT to sign the consent form.

The Executive will provide locals with an update as soon as information is received.

If you should have any questions, please contact NBCNHU Executive or you National Servicing Rep.

Workshop on Essential Services

Greetings Sisters & Brothers

On January 19th 2016 the NBCNHU will be holding a workshop/information session on Essential Services in nursing homes. The workshop will be held at the Fredericton Inn (Royal Stewart Ballroom) from 10am-4pm. Now that we have received the complete information requested from our homes we can move forward in determining the level of essential services in nursing home locals.

The Council is recommending that members in your local that will be working on this process to attend this very important education session. The Nursing Home Council will be providing a $600 grant to each local that sends at least 1 member to this provincial education session. Were looking forward to seeing you all on the 19th of January.
